We warmly invite you to indulge in a journey through time with the magnificent Parajita Chocolates—where every bite tells a story.
In 1852, during the reign of Queen Isabel II and just after the end of the Second Carlist War, Don Vicente Hijós y Palacio opened a distinguished establishment in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol, known for offering high-quality coffees, chocolates, candies, and teas, this was the beginning of a sweet legacy.
For six generations, Parajita has honored the timeless art of confectionery. Their pralines, chocolates, and candies are lovingly crafted using traditional methods and closely guarded recipes passed down through the years. Each creation is a tribute to our heritage—a celebration of craftsmanship, dedication, and authentic flavor.
Their recipes, perfected over decades, blend ancestral knowledge with a deep passion for excellence.
The result? Confections that stir nostalgia and delight—sweet reminders of the past, brought lovingly into the present.
We invite you to experience more than just chocolate. Experience tradition. Experience La Parajita.
