Monthly Meetings

Each month, from September to June, INC scouts out interesting and often highly original activities for our members. We take you to unique places that perhaps you didn’t know existed (even if you’re a very long-term Madrid resident as some of our members are!) or wouldn’t have access to on your own. Either way we make it our mission to introduce you to the rich cultural diversity that Madrid and Spain has to offer.

Previous Monthly Meetings have included a private tour of the Sorolla Museum with the painter’s grand-daughter, a morning with whacky fashionista Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, and a full on dancing experience with all of the participants.

One of the unique features of our club is that, while we come together for larger Monthly Meetings, on a monthly basis we also hold Area Coffee Mornings for smaller groups in the area of Madrid local to you. These intimate gatherings give members the chance to meet others who live nearby—creating stronger connections and familiar faces at the bigger group events. They’re fantastic opportunities to chat face‑to‑face with fellow area members and exchange helpful tips and local insights.

As an INC member, you are welcome to attend any coffee morning in any of the areas, in addition to your own. Your hostess provides coffee, tea and juice and you are requested to bring a sweet or savory dish to share with 2 people.

INC Activities

INC offers a vibrant calendar of events designed to help you explore Madrid, connect with others, and make the most of your life here. From social gatherings and culinary adventures to cultural outings and local excursions, there is always something inspiring on the horizon.

Some recent favorite INC Activities have included:

Casa Decor visit and luncheon
Guided tour of Palacio de Cibeles (plus the Senate, RSEMAP, and Opera House)
Museum forums, including English-guided tours at Matadero
Royal Casino visit
Painting and craft workshops
Themed luncheons — Japanese, Chinese, Indian — celebrating each other’s traditions
International cooking classes
Tertulia – Spanish conversation groups
“Las Meninas” scavenger hunt
City walks & mountain hikes led by local experts (our own members!)
Wine & tapas evenings — Partners Welcome
Horse racing outings — Partners Welcome

**Some Member Activities may carry an extra fee.

All activities require advance registration, as many have limited capacity to ensures a high quality experience for everyone. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
