Welcome to the International Newcomers Club Madrid (INC)

Welcome to INC Madrid—a heartwarming, supportive community of curious, creative, and enthusiastic women representing over thirty nationalities. What began nearly 40 years ago as an initiative to help newcomers settle into life in Madrid has blossomed into a thriving network where both new arrivals and long-time residents connect, grow, and feel at home.

With year‑round activities, lively chat groups, and inspiring events in atmospheric venues, INC brings women together to exchange stories, build lasting friendships, and create shared memories.

What Is Included in Your Membership

Monthly Meetings
From September through June, INC organizes one-of-a-kind monthly gatherings designed to introduce you to Madrid’s rich cultural tapestry—think behind-the-scenes visits to museums, unique artist-led experiences, and inspiring venues you might not discover on your own.

Area Coffee Mornings
Each neighborhood hosts smaller, informal gatherings where members can chat, exchange local tips, and build friendships close to home. Hosted in homes or cozy cafés, these gatherings often include coffee, tea, and shared treats—it's a relaxed way to connect with fellow area members.

Local Book Clubs
Join book-loving neighbors for regular club meetings within your area—perfect for sparking discussions, making friends, and exploring new stories together.

Spanish Language Conversation (Tertulia)
Strengthen your Spanish while chatting casually with fellow members in our friendly Tertulia conversation meetups.

To make connections even more personal, Madrid is divided into five areas, giving members the chance to bond locally, share tips, and build lasting friendships right in their own neighborhood.

Area 1 | NorthEast La Moraleja and all points north
Area 2 | North Mirasierra, Puerta de Hierro, Tres Cantos
Area 3 | Center Madrid, all “central” districts, Chamberí, Barrio de Salamanca, Chamartin, Retiro, etc.
Area 4 | West Aravaca, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Humera
Area 5 | NorthWest Las Rozas, Las Matas, Boadilla del Monte, Majadahonda
